Pastor Clay is originally from Indiana. He graduated from Ball State University and Westminster Seminary in California. During the summers Clay was a rafting and mountaineering guide in Colorado, where he met his wife, Liz. They have 5 kids and love to be outside and in the Athens community. Previous to coming to Athens, Clay served as the Sr. Pastor of Lexington Presbyterian Church (SC) where they planted a daughter church and helped to plant another. He is also the author of On the Brink: Grace for the Burned Out Pastor (P&R)
Morgan grew up in Roswell, GA. He attended the University of Georgia where he met his wife, Lauren. After graduation, Morgan and Lauren moved to Fort Collins, CO, where Morgan was the youth director at Grace Church Presbyterian for four years. In 2014, Morgan began working at Saint Patrick Presbyterian, a church plant in downtown Denver, CO. Morgan graduated from Denver Seminary in 2016. Morgan and Lauren have two daughters, and after six years away from Georgia, they are all overjoyed to be back in the city of Athens.
