What fills your days when you’re not serving at GS?
Geeking out on music stuff. Lately, I’ve been getting into easy listening music from the 50s, forgotten alt-rock bands from the 90s, and recording equipment from the 1940s.
What is your favorite thing about GS?
The community! As someone who doesn’t always feel like a typical church-goer, I have never felt the slightest out of place in the Good Shepherd community. Bunch of whackos, I guess.
Do you have a favorite passage of scripture or catechism question or hymn we can share?
Current favorite is Psalm 27 : 1-6. It’s great for those times when life’s stresses and anxieties are overwhelming one’s heart.
The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
