Women's Winter Gathering

to Feb 9

Women's Winter Gathering

Please join us the evening of Feb 8th and morning of Feb 9th for our first Women’s Winter Gathering hosted right here at Good Shepherd. Guest speaker, Courtney Doctor, will speak on the overarching mission of God, how Jesus was sent to accomplish that mission and how we are now entrusted with that mission today. We also look forward to singing hymns; and having a Q&A with Courtney.

Friday, Feb 8, 5:45pm - 9:00pm
Saturday, Feb 9, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Registration &Cost: The early bird cost is $25 per person before January 20th and will be $30 afterward. Please use the registration button below for registration and payment info.

Topic Details: From Garden to Glory: From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is the telling of a beautiful, epic, and cohesive story — one that holds together from beginning to end. It is the story of how our eternal God is on a grand mission to redeem and restore his wayward children. And it is a story that invites you to be more than a listener — it invites you to be a participant! We will look at the overarching mission of God, how Jesus was sent to accomplish that mission, and how we are now entrusted with that mission today. You will marvel at the steadfast love of our God who longs to dwell with his children again — and who will stop at nothing until he does.

About Courtney: Courtney is an author, Bible teacher, frequent conference and retreat speaker, and periodic blogger. She received an MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2013 and is the author of From Garden to Glory: A Bible Study on the Bible’s Story (2016). She currently serves as the Coordinator of Women's Training and Content for The Gospel Coalition and as a Visiting Instructor of Communication at Covenant Theological Seminary. Her greatest desire in all of this is to be able to faithfully study, apply, and teach the word of God and help others to do the same. She’s known around these parts as “CC” by her favorite grandson, Bo, which does in fact, make her Austin’s mom. For more info about her go to her website at https://www.courtneydoctor.org/
